PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Welcome to the Bullies Be Gone Project (BBGP)! We encourage you to enthusiastically embrace this training as we together assist in the prevention and elimination of bullying. Although much work has been put in its development, it can’t be accomplished without you, the teacher.
Your sincere desire to make a difference in the area of anti-bullying can be facilitated by your dedication to regularly delivering the training with enthusiasm, diligence, and high expectations.
BBGP has been written to be delivered during most of the academic year, covering 18 modules. The modules will culminate with the completion of a “Final Exam” (Post Test).
The following are documents that will need to be printed for each student:
- Student Survey Administer prior to teaching BBGP
- BBGP Pre-test Administer prior to teaching BBGP
- BBGP Final Exam (Post Test) After Module 18
- Certificate of Completion After Final Exam (Post-test)
- BBGP Letter to Students Distribute with Certificate of Completion
For the best opportunity to practice and sustain the contents of the training, each module spans over a period of two weeks, at least three days per week, more as required.

“NOTE: There will be weeks when additional days will be necessary to complete assignments, reinforce skills, make presentations, etc. Conversely, some modules will require less time.)
You will find that modules vary in length, with some having only one poem, and others having several poems. There are activities accompanying each poem; consequently, modules with more poems take longer to go through. Allowing for two weeks per module (90 minutes per week, as seen above) will provide enough time for each of the above, without rushing through the material.
However, there will be weeks when more time is needed in order to properly reinforce the concepts being presented, for the completion of assignments, and for reviewing previously presented topics. Please gauge yourself as to the amount of additional time you need, utilizing the entire week as needed.
Shorter modules require less time, which will allow for review and reinforcement over previous modules.
