Module 7 (Continued)
“A BULLY’S MENTAL WEAKNESS
Weeks 13 – 14
Students write their interpretation of the above illustration’s theme/main idea as it applies to bullying
“YOUR MENTAL WEAKNESS” – Poem
When you made the unwise decision to become a bully, your mental weakness took center stage.
The spotlight of stupidity shone brightly on you, revealing your mental weakness in all kinds of inappropriate ways.
You call kids nasty names, just to make them feel bad.
That’s your stupid mental weakness I bet you never knew you had.
You spread rumors about kids around school and on the internet.
That’s your mental weakness working overtime and, sadly, you don’t even recognize it’s a weakness yet.
You hassle other kids because somehow, in your inept mind, you deduced they deserve being bullied, because they’re different than you.
Oops! There goes your mental weakness again, you’re unable to see the tons of more positive things in life you could very easily do.
You enjoy intimidating kids smaller than you, making them scared and confused.
That’s your mental weakness, totally out of control. Unfortunately, you have allowed your mental weakness to get the better of you.
Your mental weakness will eventually wear you down. It’ll be a gigantic heavy load that you will struggle to carry around.
Why don’t you lighten your load, stop your bullying now? You’ll then smile more and lose forever that unbecoming bullying frown.
